Our story

Why Trust In Care exists

Trust In Care was founded in 2018 and set up to provide high-quality, personalised care and support services to the most vulnerable. We are the Caring Company — providing care and support to people in the comfort of their own homes across the Black Country, Birmingham and, since 2026, Leicestershire.

Our sole purpose is to support people to remain and live independently in their own living environment. Whether you are looking for care for yourself or on behalf of a loved one, we have tailored solutions to meet your needs — because we understand that everyone’s needs are different.

Whether it’s support with a cup of tea and breakfast in the morning or round-the-clock personal care and domestic support, our friendly team will provide a tailored approach. We support adults in their own home, in a care home or in an independent living setting.

The people who set the standard

Trust In Care is led by people who have spent their careers in health and social care — and who still make time for a cuppa and a chat.

Sham, Managing Director of Trust In Care
Managing Director

Sham

“I have been part of innovative projects involving service delivery through to management, and through both professional and personal experience realised there are many challenges to face in health and social care. My vision through Trust In Care is to create a family of carers who have the same passion and commitment as myself to supporting individuals in their time of need — making a positive difference to their lives and ensuring the care and support delivered is meaningful and of a very high quality.”

Dal

“Hi, my name is Daljit Kaur Bains and I am the proud Registered Manager at Trust In Care. I’m a Yorkshire lass, born and bred in Bradford — and I still have my northern accent. I’ve lived in Birmingham since 1985 and worked in health and social care for over 34 years.”

“I have worked in many roles supporting vulnerable people over the years. What I value most is making sure the choices people make are listened to and acted upon. In my role I oversee all our operations and make sure every member of staff is comfortable in their role and supported with their development. I get to apply what I’ve learnt over the years, working with a brilliant care team who strive to make a positive difference to the lives of the people we care for.”

Dignity and respect at the centre of everything. A consistent service, so friendship and trust grow with your dedicated care team.

Responsive

We act on any concern as soon as it arises. With our on-call system there is always someone available to take your call.

Well led
