About home care
What is domiciliary care?
Domiciliary care — often called home care — supports people in their own homes so they can stay independent, safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings. It can include personal care, medication support, companionship, meal preparation, domestic assistance and specialist care tailored to individual needs.
Does Trust In Care provide care home services?
No. Trust In Care is a domiciliary care provider — we provide care and support within people’s own homes. Our aim is to help people remain independent in the place where they feel most comfortable.
Who can receive home care?
Our services are available to adults aged 18 and over who need support with daily living — people living alone or with family, recovering from illness or injury, living with a disability or dementia, or managing a long-term health condition.
Do I have to be elderly?
No. Home care is not just for older people. We support adults of all ages who need assistance because of illness, disability, mental health needs, learning disabilities or recovery after a hospital stay.
Can I receive care if I live alone?
Yes. Many of the people we support live independently in their own homes. Our support helps people stay safe, confident and independent.
What areas do you cover?
We provide home care throughout Sandwell, Dudley and Birmingham — and now across Leicestershire too, including West Leicester, Oadby & Wigston, Hinckley and Lutterworth. If you’re unsure whether we reach you, ring us with your postcode and we’ll tell you straight away.
What services do you provide?
Personal care, companionship, medication support, shopping support, domestic assistance, dementia care, respite care, live-in care, rehabilitation support and end of life care. Every package is tailored to the person.
Do you provide specialist care?
Yes. Our experienced staff support people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke recovery, cancer, mental health conditions, physical and learning disabilities, diabetes, and catheter and stoma care.
Why choose home care instead of a care home?
Many people simply prefer to stay in their own home — keeping their independence, routines, relationships and connection with their community. Home care provides personalised support in familiar surroundings.
